She started her career in the television industry with Idhar Udhar 2 and she made her debut film in Tamil with Samurai in 2002.
When she got the lead role of &ldquoTanushree&rdquo in the TV serial &ldquoKabhii Sautan Kabhi Sahelii&rdquo in 2001 and she got some fame in the entertainment industry due to which she starts getting offered in famous serials.
She also had done many commercial ads with big brands like Boroplus, Dominos, Sunsilk, EverYouth and many more.
She gained huge popularity due to her negative role of &lsquoShagun&rsquo in TV serial Yeh Hai Mohabbatein which published on Star Plus channel.
In 2008, she also participated in reality game Fear Factor- Khatron Ke Khiladi in first season which hosted by Rohit Shetty.
